UPSC Prelims Result 2021 Declared – Check UPSC Civil Service Examination Result online.

Union Public Service Commission is declared the UPSC Civil Service Result for the preliminary exam. The candidates can check their UPSC Prelims Result online from the official portal of UPSC. UPSC Prelims Result 2021:

Every year Union Public Service Commission will conduct the examination for Civil Services. This year the commission has planned to conduct the prelims examination for Civil Services on 27th June. But at that time India is fighting against the 2nd covid wave, due to which the department has canceled the examination.

The Commission has rescheduled the examination for 10th October. The examination was taken place at various exam centres across 71 cities. Around 5 lakh candidates have appeared in this examination. The examination was completed in two shifts for two papers. Paper-1 was conducted for General Studies and Paper-2 was conducted for Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT).

The General Studies paper was conducted in the morning shift while the CSAT paper was conducted in the evening shift. The paper was conducted in offline mode. All the candidates who have appeared in the prelims exam are looking for their UPSC Prelims Result.

If analyze the examination process then we will find that the Paper-2 (CSAT) examination is generally a qualifying examination. The candidates scoring the qualifying marks in Paper-2 will get their 1st Paper checked. On the basis of the 1st Paper, the candidates are qualified for the main exam.

UPSC Preliminary Exam Details-

Paper-1 (General Studies) will consist of 100 MCQ questions for 200 marks i.e. each question will be asked for 2 marks. While Paper-2 will contain 80 questions and each question are asked for 2.5 marks. There was a negative marking of 1/3 for each wrong answer.

Now the process of examination has been completed successfully and the department is going to declare the UPSC Civil Service Examination Result for the same. The candidates who will qualify in this examination are selected for the main exam which is going to be held in the month of December or January.
